Welcome!

The English Graduate Association (EGA) is a representative organization comprising all graduate students in the Department of English in Auburn University’s College of Liberal Arts. EGA’s mission is to represent, advocate on behalf of, and provide social and professional development programming for its members.

All graduate students in the Department of English are considered members of EGA.

Our organization is designed to:

  • Provide departmental, committee, and University council representation

  • Organize activities for personal and professional development

  • Act as an advocate for our membership within and outside the University

  • Provide a forum in which to discuss the concerns of our members

EGA organizes several programs and events throughout the year, including the Southeastern Liberal Arts Research Conference (SELARC), an annual regional conference hosted by EGA.
